James E. Weaver has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Registry

SEMINOLE, FL, August 15, 2023, James E. Weaver has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Leveraging more than two decades of excellence in music and education, Mr. Weaver has earned distinction as the music director and piano teacher with his own company, James Weaver Piano. Across his career, he has consistently focused his efforts on teaching piano, including how to read music and how to practice effectively. Additionally, he served as an adjunct piano instructor for John Hopkins Middle School from 2015 to 2022 and is a valued member of the Music Teachers Association.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Weaver began his career as a piano instructor for the Bringe School of Music in 2001, serving in this role until 2021. During this time, he functioned as a composer-in-residence, pianist and instructor for the Galaxy Center for the Arts in Saint Petersburg, Florida from 2002 until 2010 and was a Lifelong Learning class piano instructor for Saint Petersburg College from 2003 until 2016. Among his professional accomplishments, he is proud to have been named a Top Teacher of the Year in 2022 by Steinway.

Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Weaver earned an Associate of Arts in Music and Education from Saint Petersburg Junior College in 2001. Following this achievement, he attained a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development with a focus on psychology and education from Eckerd College in 2016. Having been mentored in piano by the late Rosemary Paulsen, he was inspired to teach students himself, carrying on her legacy as a strong and compassionate educator.

Within the coming years, Mr. Weaver intends to pursue a master’s degree in either social work or clinical counseling, allowing him to venture into entrepreneurship within his field. Additionally, he is the pianist and assistant director at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, having played there since 2000, and serves as the vice president for Ovations School for the Arts.
